The best way to break in your yoga mat and avoid slipping around is to simply use it as often as you can but there are a few ways to expedite the process to make your mat feel like home sooner.
		
Sprinkle your mat with a mix of sea Salt and warm water then wipe it down with a Cotton washcloth.
		
Alternatively, use your mat for more than just yoga! Don't roll up your yoga mat as soon as your practice is over! Stomp around with bare feet as much as you can!
		
The more you use it, the more it will loosen up.
